Snake Oil Recording is an open architecture facility built on vibe, comfort, experiance, excellent gear and a great sounding room. A fully equipped and professional recording studio conveniently located just minutes from downtown Richmond, VA in Manchester.
The facility was conceived and build by Dan-O Deckelman, with technical assistance by Wes LeChot of Wes LaChot Designs and Overdub Lane Studios, NC.
Snake Oil Recording is a unique place where ideas are realized and honed to taste while keeping the atmosphere creative, artistic and fun. Plenty of toys to play with that make interesting noises, and some of them are...well...toys. Vintage and modern instruments, gear and tech all contribute their part in the creative process, with an open architecture for live band performances.
